S'mores cups

It is the first official Make it Monday! To kick it off I am going to show you a simple way to make s'mores a year round treat. Last night we had a Pampered Chef party at my mother's house and we made a few treats for our quests. We made pumpkin cookie press cookies(which will later become a Make it Monday recipe so stay tuned), pumpkin fudge, and s'mores cups. The party was fall themed, hence the fall treats, but the s'mores cups were my husbands favorite so let me show you how I made them.

Here is what you will need:

7 whole graham crackers (1 cup finely crushed)

1/4 cup powdered sugar

6 tablespoons butter, melted

4 bars (1.55 oz each) milk chocolate candy, divided
12 large marshmallows
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees.  Combine graham cracker crumbs,
powdered Sugar and melted butter in a bowl or a food processor.  Use a mini muffin pan and place a small scoop of crumb mixture into each cup. Press the mixture to
form a cup using the tart shaper, if you don't have one no worries, just use your finger. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until edges bubble and remove from oven.  Break candy bar into rectangles, then again so that they are squared shaped and cut marshmallows in half like this;
tip: dip your kitchen sheers in cool water so that the marshmallows don't stick and you can make quick clean cuts.
Take two pieces of chocolate in each cup then place one marshmallow half, cut-side down, into each cup (when you put cut side down, you get a cleaner look!) Return to

oven 1-2 minutes Or until marshmallows are slightly softened. Remove pans from oven to cooling rack; cool 15 minutes. Carefully remove cups from pan.

Last night we had to literally turn the pan upside down and then transfer the cups to a serving plate. So don't panic if they don't pop out right away. The cups also held up doing that, and looked good in the end. Let them cool completely, you can eat them warm, but they are just a little fragile and remember the chocolate is melted so if you have small children watch out for that so they don't burn their mouths.

That was it! If this seem a little tedious, it kind of is but it goes by fast, if you are throwing a party, tail gate, or even for your family, these little cups are such a hit and that makes them really worth it. Enjoy!
